Within Azure Data, the Microsoft Fabric platform team builds and maintains the operating system and provides customers a unified data stack to run an entire data estate. The platform provides a unified experience, unified governance, enables a unified business model and a unified architecture. Within the Fabric Platform team, the Data and Telemetry Team is responsible for the data the drives the Fabric product itself, offering services and tools for different needs from near real time monitoring and troubleshooting to business intelligence. We are looking for a Principal Data Analytics Manager for the Data Curation and Analytics Team. The team provides and democratizes insights by developing and managing data curation pipelines and data models that build on deep service and business knowledge, and cutting edge tools. ResponsibilitiesAs a Principal Data Analytics Manager , you will:Lead a team of Data Engineers and Data Scientists. Define team objectives and outcomes, and deliver success through empowerment and accountability.Manage the contractual relationship between the team and the data stakeholders, ensuring aspects such as shaping of high-quality requirements, work prioritization and delivery timelines, compliance, etc.Ensure the quality of team's deliverables, in terms of platform and data effectiveness, trustworthiness, reliability, etc.Manage engagements with external suppliers, with the goal of maximizing delivery output with quality and compliance.Collaborate with leadership, product managers and stakeholders to identify organizational data and data-platform needs and provide solutions, such as metrics, architectures, and data models. Drive cross-organizational efforts in support of such solutions.* Embody our culture and values
