T-Mobile is revolutionizing eSIM products every dang day, and we need an experienced, driven Product Manager who can champion the adoption of new technologies, pave the way for eSIM devices, and instant cellular activations! Product Manager, Technical is a transformational, strategist, analyst, customer evangelist, respected leader of business and technology execution, and professional relationship builder all rolled into a single dynamic package. Product Manager, Technical is the ultimate "versatile person" demonstrating deep customer empathy, critical thinking, commercial, analytical, technical capability and knowledge, and leadership prowess to successfully deliver delightful and differentiated products that drive growth and positively impact customers lives.

Day to day activities or responsibilities include: conducting market research; writing features or user stories; resolving specifications; defining long-term strategy of the product; creating the product road map; driving technical delivery end to end; defining scope for releases/product increments; partnering with development, project/program management, marketing, and other key team members to define release schedule; and support/drive go-to-market activities as needed.

This Role is located at our Bellevue HQ, is not open to remote work and offers three or more days of inperson collaboration!

What you'll do in your role.

Vision, Strategy, and Analysis

  • Owns product end to end for products or features. This includes creating, managing, maintaining, and communicating product vision and strategy including technical vision and capabilities.
  • Drives end user product research.
  • Partners with business and internal/external collaborators to understand current customer experience, identifies areas of opportunity.

Customer Evangelist

  • Dedicates time to partners actively meeting with them to build deeper empathy and understand their needs and priorities.
  • Actively looks for opportunities to delight or meet customer's unmet needs.
  • Evangelizes and advocates for the customer both internally (IC through C level) and externally, perpetuating the customer-first attitude.

Product Execution & Technical Delivery

  • Translates product/platform strategy by writing detailed features and user stories consumable for Dev teams for moderately complex products.
  • Owns and runs product backlog and priorities with our business and technology partners.
  • Collaborates with Architecture and Dev teams to ensure technical debt and long-term technical investment is factored into roadmap.
  • Ensures existing production defects are factored into regular backlog prioritization for resolution based on priority.
  • Collaborates with partners and Dev / Execution teams to create and communicate anticipated release schedule.
  • Generates and maintains dashboards and reports that track product health and success metrics, technical KPI's.
  • Communicates technical challenges to partners and makes educated trade-off decisions based on those challenges.

Relationship & People, Professional Development

  • Collaborates and develops positive working relationships with many technical and non-technical teams, including sales, commercial accounting, customer groups or customer representatives, marketing, legal, go-to-market, finance, Dev, Architecture, Engineering. Works with outside partners and other third parties.
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

The experience you'll bring.
  • 5+ years of relevant Product Management experience
  • Shown success in delivering products and services
  • Ensure effective elicitation of requirements through strong written communication skills, adept at crafting concise and clear content tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Strong demonstrable ability to identify/analyze/synthesize product use data.
  • Experience with Agile backlog/project management tools.
  • Experience with successive elaboration and ability to develop Initiatives, Features and User Stories that the DevOps teams can ingest.
  • Experience in delivering large and complex business/technology initiatives.
  • Validated ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with Leadership, while employing a high degree of collaboration and influence.
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Washington Pay Range : $134,400.00 - $181,800.00

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives. And since we are ALL owners, EVERY employee at T-Mobile is eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
