Job Responsibilities
Initially work as a Journeyman Fire Alarm Installer/Job Foreman on projects, with a potential to grow into a Superintendent role as the local office and field crew size grows.
Install, repair, and maintain all types of fixed fire alarm systems.
Acquire and maintain all required local licensure.
Install and service a variety of other fire protection equipment such as fire pumps, foam systems, and clean agent systems.
Conduct work in a safe manner utilizing all required PPE, safe work practices, etc.
Work may include off hours/shift/weekend work as required.
Oversee multiple crews and projects at one time.
Qualifications
Must be willing to become/be a member of the IBEW Local 100.
A minimum of 10 years of experience is required.
Large project & Job Foreman experience required.
Superintendent experience a plus.
At least 18 years old.
High school diploma OR GED required.
Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds. Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment.
Ability to read and understand construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment, including working outdoors, hot/cold weather, etc.
NICET Level III in fire alarm systems is required.
