Job Description
Duration: 9+ months
Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): 9am - 3pm;M-F (8hrs/day)

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Carries out Procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysis. Responds to client inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Carries out activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services to ensure terms are in the organization's best interest.
  • Prepares purchase orders, approves payments, and negotiates prices to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly, under general guidance
  • Compiles price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices.
  • Prepares requests for proposals (RFP) and bid packages to take on new accounts. Monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries.
  • Established and productive professional contributor.
  • Problems faced are difficult and may be complex.
  • Works autonomously with limited supervision.
  • Influences others within the work area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
  • Procurement/Purchasing Associates
    *must have motivation, common sense and good work ethic. Tasks/responsibilities will come from the program buyer.
  • Experience is more important than having an AA or Bachelor's for this role.
Education:
  • HS Diploma/GED Required and at least 3-4 years of relevant experience working within Supply Chain (**do not need planners)
Schedule:
  • Tier meetings with Philippine’s start at 8am and sometimes in afternoon at 3pm (not necessarily involved every day) Late meetings will be allowed to be remote from home - - this will be discussed during interview process
  • No overtime unless approved by manager prior
