Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR AI Program Manager to join our People & Culture (P&C) team and lead our Artificial Intelligence Transformation initiatives, reporting to the Head of People Operations. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for enabling People and Culture with AI technologies, with the goal of using AI to yield materially increase customer experience, business intelligence, and efficiency when compared to other technologies. You will start by developing business cases and experiments for candidate use cases, such as talent search, job and skills catalog, insights and predictive analytics. You will then execute these experiments, measure results, and iterate to yield material business outcomes. While executing, you will educate P&C and create fluency in AI. Finally, as your AI-enabled services and products reach maturity, you will transition ownership to functional areas and operations.

You are an intellectually curious innovator with a passion for new technologies, people, and business management. You can establish and articulate a vision, but are able to execute towards a strategy in incremental steps, making appropriate investments as you gather observed data. You are willing to experiment and can fail fast, and use data to make risk-adjusted decisions. You dive deep and are willing to both lead and execute tasks to move initiatives forward. Most importantly, while you are a thought leader in AI, you are a trusted partner to P&C and can adjust to business needs, timelines, and capacity for change.

We prefer that this role is located in our office in San Jose, CA or Seattle, WA (hybrid, 2-3 days a week in office).

Responsibilities:

  • Be the company expert in the most current and relevant HR AI technologies.

  • Develop and continually curate AI business cases and drive initiatives to invent AI-enabled services and products for the strongest business cases.

  • Create design principles and strategy for the suitable use of AI technology within P&C, inclusive of the experience, efficiency, and ethics.

  • Assess performance of AI technologies using data and adjust when necessary.

  • Partner with People and Culture senior leaders, program owners, and service delivery leaders to educate, evangelize, and embed AI technologies where it can add material business value.

  • Work with Zscaler IT to learn from and champion AI to the company.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience as an HR Technology Program Manager or a similar role.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience with implementing and operating new transformative technologies for HR.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree.

  • Strong knowledge of HR AI technologies, practices, and pitfalls.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.

Zscaler's salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range
$170,000$215,000 USD
