Summary:

The Computerized Maintenance Management System Specialist, along with the Early Asset Management Team (EAM), is responsible for the implementation and ongoing maintenance & usage of Hexagon EA at various Trident facilities. Implementing and maintaining an effective maintenance program for various Facility and infrastructure assets.

This role will require extensive travel primarily in remote Alaska locations. Qualified candidate can expect to be on site at different locations for accumulated period of 6 months per year: 3 months working remote and 3 months off.

This role requires excellent people skills and play a key role in the success of the Hexagon (formally known as Infor) EAM system at each location.

Essential Functions:

  • Travels to various Trident locations to support onsite personnel with system implementation, improvements and upgrades
  • Continuously identifies opportunities to further enhance program's success
  • Continues EAM implementation efforts to remaining Alaska project sites while establishing goals, priorities, and timelines.
  • Develops best in class strategy for Storeroom processes which includes: Training and assisting plant personnel in performing full MRO Inventory (at Initial Locations), development of overall MRO Inventory Planning (best practices) and storeroom optimization and potential Consolidation (e.g., 5S)
  • Ensures standardization and proper utilization of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system;
  • Assists plant personnel to develop processes and tools to ensure accuracy of equipment lists and functional locations, Preventative Maintenance tasks, check lists, and schedules and work order management.
  • Guides maintenance & operations staff in rating critical equipment and developing a critical spares list, storerooms and inventory processes aboard vessels and at processing plants in Alaska
  • Provides functional CMMS expertise and assists with technical research
  • Partners with functional, analytical and technical teams to ensure successful site implementations, software maintenance and upgrades
  • Interprets functional requirements and translates them into technical specifications and process flows.
  • Responds to daily CMMS software issues, including user entry and processing problems
  • Drives/participates in implementation of new processes, interfaces, and enhancements
  • Partners with stakeholders/subject matter experts to evaluate business improvements and opportunities.
  • Identifies and analyzes issues with system and/or business processes, identifies and recommends solutions.
  • Creates, updates and reviews functional and project related documents, user reference guides, testing and training materials.
  • Participates in the review of software release notes to determine if new/added functionality can be utilized and to maintain knowledge of current technology.
  • Participates in CMMS and related systems and technology software upgrades and enhancements.
  • Manages tactical aspects of discovering, validating, documenting and communicating business-process knowledge and modeling, simulating and analyzing current and future states.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Acquire knowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
  • Effectively collaborate and build strong relationships with production, storeroom, maintenance, and technical teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Technical field or related work history/experience
  • Must have prior experience working with Enterprise Asset Management Systems

Preferred Experience:

  • Hexagon EAM experience strongly preferred, otherwise a willingness to learn and master the application is necessary
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in system implementation and software support
  • Prior experience with storeroom set-up and 5S
  • Maintenance experience, planning/scheduling, and storeroom experience and/or technical degree preferred
  • Food industry experience desired
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for a non-technical audience
  • Experience in the seafood industry preferred

Special Training/Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, VISIO, and Outlook
  • CMMS packages - Hexagon EAM Preferred
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and schematics
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, proven strong work ethic, and follow through; able to work collaboratively at all levels in the organization
  • Able to effectively transfer technical knowledge and train others.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment:

  • Varied- from loud, wet factory environments, requiring the use of PPE, to offices and conference rooms
  • 80-100% Travel required, occasionally onsite for extended periods of time at remote locations

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch. Work in factories requires the ability to climb stairs, ladders, walk significant distances (200 meters).

May also be required to adhere to site specific policies and regulations.

Mental Activities:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use independent judgment, discretion and decision making. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to use creativity, training, supervision and mentoring skills as well as problem analysis skills. The employee willuse interpersonal skills and teamwork. The employee will regularly speak, read, write and understand English, and use customer service skills.

This is a Salaried - Exempt position with an annualized salary range of: $120,000 - $150,000.
