Summary:

Trident is seeking a SeniorSAP Master DataAnalyst to join the Trident team to work on an exciting strategic initiative. This is a critical global transformation to improve supply chain efficiency, deliver world-class sales performance, and provide the fuel to rebuild its infrastructure, including its vessels and Alaska factories. The company has selected SAP S/4HANA as its future ERP system, transitioning from a legacy JD Edwards platform in the US and Japan, and an older SAP instance in Europe.This will be an IT support role for the new S/4 HANA ERP system. This position reports to the Global Master Data Leader.

This hybrid position will be a combination of remote and onsite at the Trident Support Center office in Seattle, WA. Our hybrid work environment includes remote on Monday and Friday and in the Support Center on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:

The Master Data Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining Master Data in the Trident S/4 HANA system.

  • Operate as SAP Master Data content expert and work with business users to analyze data integrity, completeness, consistency, accuracy, timeliness, conformity, and validity
  • Drive comprehensive master data creation & maintenance processes in SAP and across Trident master data processes
  • Work with reporting team to build auditing tools that find gaps or errors in master data
  • Define oversight reporting requirements
  • Execute mass maintenance jobs and utilities according to business requirements
  • Ensure full population of required SAP master data across the business enterprise
  • Work with Program Managers and Product Development relating to new product introduction processes.
  • Master data entry management within SAP (Dev/QA/Prod landscapes)
    • Support the creation of product specifications and labels and make recommendations for future processes
    • Communicate with, FSQA, R&D, Quality, Planning, Pricing, and Sourcing as first line of support for Master Data questions
    • Validate the integrity of material data provided by other functions
    • Highlight and rectify minor issues with the processes or tools in a timely and collaborative manner * Generate reports for missing and incorrect data
    • Lead, train, and develop the master data team to follow implemented improvements Senior Master Data Analyst Requirements:
  • Execute master data creation and maintenance in accordance with established standard operating procedures, templates/mapping documents, service level objectives, and Trident seafoods project plans.
  • Complete/processe SAP data loads utilizing data workflow tools, load templates and corresponding programs, mass change transactions, and/or direct entry depending on the situation.
  • Perform some evening/weekend work to minimize impact to the business.
  • Enforce gatekeeper processes requiring appropriate data and approvals to ensure compliance.
  • Uphold SAP master data standards by validating/normalizing/cleansing data to ensure adherence to technical and business rules, naming conventions, abbreviations, etc.
  • Run error reports and/or pulls data to identify inconsistencies and data load corrections.
  • Perform periodic data audits.
  • Function as a master data knowledge resource by helping the business understand master data and the data workflow tools used to request adds/changes (level 1 support).
  • Document data issues engaging Manager to work with the business and technical teams as needed to reach resolution.
  • Provide business and third parties such as customers, warehouses, and consultants with ad hoc reporting as directed.
  • Work with a Master Data Lead and Trident Seafoods business analysts, data stewards and individual business data object owners to understand rules and data setup for new requirements due to system enhancements, process improvements, and/or business rule changes.
  • Provide testing support for key implementations.
  • Maintain logs/shared files to document master data activity for projects, status reports, and internal audit and compliance processes.
  • Create/maintain standard operating procedures, user request forms, and other documentation to promote data consistency.
  • Provide cross-training/shares knowledge with teammates to build skills across the master data team.
  • Continuously improve knowledge of master data to better understand how data elements are used both technically and by the business.

Experience:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

  • Proficient in SAP MM/PM/WM/SD/FICO experience is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience using SAP or ERP system, with focus on Master Data governance or support.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business management, or operations management preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver quality customer service and experience working in a food and manufacturing setting
  • Experience in the seafood industry preferred.
  • Strong organization skills with ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities simultaneously Experience with Lean, Agile, and Six Sigma tools is a plus
  • SAP Variant Configuration experience a plus
  • Strong cross-functional knowledge of master data usage across the supply Strong organizational skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, management information systems, mathematics, or engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of Master Data support, reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

Qualifications:

This is a Salaried- Exemptposition with an annualized salary rangeof: $120,000 - $145,000.
