We continue our conversation revolving around recent research that indicates some women limit themselves in their career searches or applications. However, stereotypes of professions and the culture surrounding many others also play a role in gender segregation. Ph.D. Matthew Bidwell, professor at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business, discusses the various factors affecting gender segregation from different angles. We also examine how things can change and why it's such a difficult area to analyze and improve.
